Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your access to and use of LeetArena, including its website, accounts, AI-driven incident simulations, scores, rankings, profiles, and related features. By accessing or using LeetArena, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use LeetArena for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. If local law requires you to be older to consent to online services, that higher minimum applies. If you are not old enough to agree on your own, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.

Accounts and access

You may sign in through an email magic link, Google, or GitHub. You are responsible for keeping those accounts secure, for activity performed through your LeetArena account, and for providing accurate information.

• Use only accounts and email addresses you are authorized to access.
• Do not share login links, impersonate another person, or transfer an account to manipulate progression.
• Notify us through an available contact channel if you believe your account has been compromised.

What LeetArena provides

LeetArena is a competitive engineering platform for simulated production incidents. Scenarios, runtime systems, logs, files, metrics, configuration, assistant responses, and outcomes presented in the arena are fictional or simulated unless clearly stated otherwise.

Leeta uses AI to respond within a scenario. AI output can be incomplete, inconsistent, or wrong. You must apply your own technical judgment and must not treat simulation output as instructions for a real production environment.

Acceptable use and fair play

You may use any legitimate reasoning or research tools unless a specific competition says otherwise. You may not misuse LeetArena or interfere with fair results.

• Do not break laws, infringe rights, threaten others, or submit malicious or harmful material.
• Do not probe, scan, exploit, overload, or access accounts, APIs, administrative areas, prompts, hidden scenario truth, or infrastructure without authorization.
• Do not automate attempts, tamper with timers or requests, exploit retries, coordinate duplicate accounts, falsify identity, or otherwise manipulate scores and rankings.
• Do not scrape, reproduce, disclose, or distribute hidden scenario content or answers in a way that undermines the arena.
• Do not use LeetArena to develop malware, target real systems, or process secrets and confidential production data.

Your inputs and feedback

You retain any rights you have in messages, feedback, and other material you submit. You grant LeetArena a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and use that material as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your material. Do not submit personal information about others, credentials, confidential employer information, proprietary code, or anything you are not permitted to share. Simulation messages may be processed by our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.

Scores, attempts, and rankings

LeetArena calculates results from milestones, completion time, attempt number, and applicable penalties. A username, optional country, aggregate score, rank, and competitive outcomes may be public.

We may recalculate, correct, withhold, or remove results where a software error, data issue, abuse, disqualification, or integrity concern affects them. Rankings can change as users complete scenarios or as the service evolves. Unless explicitly announced for a separate event, scores and ranks have no cash value and do not entitle you to a prize.

LeetArena content and ownership

LeetArena and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, software, visual design, branding, scenarios, hidden scenario truth, prompts, scoring systems, and original content. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

You may not copy, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative services from protected platform content except where applicable law expressly allows it.

Availability and platform changes

We may add, remove, limit, archive, or change scenarios and features, reset or correct affected data, impose usage limits, or discontinue parts of LeetArena. We do not promise that any scenario, score, ranking, feature, or account data will remain available forever.

The service may be interrupted by maintenance, provider failures, security events, or circumstances outside our control.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using LeetArena at any time. We may suspend, deactivate, or terminate access, invalidate attempts, or remove content if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk for the service or others, manipulated competition results, or if access must be restricted for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and licenses needed for retained records, will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeetArena is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and that the service will be secure or error-free.

We do not warrant that AI responses, scenarios, technical details, scores, rankings, or learning outcomes are complete, accurate, current, or suitable for decisions involving real infrastructure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeetArena and its operators, affiliates, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, opportunities, or business interruption arising from the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Your local law may provide rights or remedies that these terms cannot limit.

Changes and general terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to LeetArena, providers, risk, or law. Revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after they take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the service.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of operating or transferring the service.
